In the very challenging terrain and difficult courses, their winning times showed very high performance. Tove did her 3,9 km in 25:35 with Lilian Forsgren, Sweden 35 sec. after, and Sarina Jenzer, Switzerland, on the third place 1:16 after the winner. Gaute used 23:44 to get through the 22 control on his 4,7 km course. Sweden took the silver and bronze medal with Jonas Leandersson 1:09 after, and Olle Boström 1:26 behind.
So with 4 medals out of 6, Sweden made a very fine result this beautiful summer day in Kollerup. The Danish team, which did not have the gold medalist from sprint and long, Ida Bobach, with them today, also did a fine result with a number 4, 5, and 8 in the women’s final, and 6 and 9 in the men’s final.
